"Our mother passed away and my sister and I had to sell her home.  I was living with her during her illness and needed to find a place to live.  I decided to buy a home for myself after the sale of Mom’s home. It was a crazy and stressful time for my sister and I to say the least, finalizing probate, having renovations done to prepare for the sale and the list goes on.

"Jodi was referred to us by one of our friends when we were just starting a family and needed a new home. She was the best thing that could have happened to us! We were  first time home buyers and Jodi was very attentive to our needs and  instrumental in guiding us through the process. Her knowledge regarding Toronto neighborhoods and financing  is vast. She even understands structural issues - helping us to see poor renovation jobs and other issues that could come up in an inspection. One day, when we had lost a bid she brought us back to a house we had looked at, and pointed out the key elements we were looking for were in this home we had overlooked.  We ended up getting that house, which was larger and in a better neighborhood.

When we were looking for a realtor, we spoke to several candidates, but  Jodi stood out because she was not pushy, always available, and organized.  We believed that she fully understood our wants and needs.

Jodi made great suggestions on how to help our home look appealing to buyers. When we were searching for homes, she kept us focused on what we were looking for, helped us narrow our search based on our needs versus our want. This was extremely important during the time were purchasing because homes were selling within 24-48hrs of open houses. She was always very honest and helped us align our expectations with the reality of the housing market.

Second, while we were waiting to hear back from the sellers, she kept us busy with funny notes and pictures which helped me to stop worrying about the situation. Instead of being stressed and worried as we waited, we were laughing away and then she told us that we owned the house! That is the "human-touch" Jodi brings to real estate, which I had not experienced before.
